If you have been inspired by the mission of The Code and signed your organisation up to become part of the community, take a look below for some suggestions on how to get started working towards the 4 pledges.
Code Connect (coming soon!)
We will soon be launching Code Connect on this site which will enable Signatories and Supporters to search, find and link up with each other. Code Connect will enable the community to see more detailed information about each other's organisations, which they have told us matters to them including:
- Organisation size
- Organisation sector
- Type of outreach activities they deliver
- Locations they deliver outreach activities in
- Education level they deliver activities to (e.g., primary or secondary)
- Reasons for joining The Code and connecting with others
Through this tool, Signatories and Supporters will be able to connect up with each other and collaborate. Code Connect will be launching in Autumn 2022 so watch out for more information!

Online workshops
As a member of The Code you have access to a regular online workshop programme. At these workshops you will be able to learn and share best practice with other Signatories, Supporters and industry experts. Previous workshop topics have included:
- The Gatsby Benchmarks in practice
- Virtual work experience
- Applying an impact framework to engineering outreach
- Reaching underrepresented groups in engineering outreach programmes
Tomorrow's Engineers Live
As a member of The Code you get priority access to our in-person conference and networking event, Tomorrow's Engineers Live. This is free event brings together the engineering outreach community to discuss challenges and share good practice.

Tomorrow's Engineers is full of resources which The Code Community can access for free and use to improve their engineering outreach activities.
Neon
Neon brings together the UK’s best engineering experiences and inspiring career resources and helps teachers bring the STEM to life.
Signatories and Supporters of The Code can engage with more schools and meet the inspiring connection pledge by promoting their activities on Neon.
